l'atelier de flanerie

l'atelier de flanerie is a choreographic conquest of space in which Stephanie Felber and her team explore non-directed walking. Strolling becomes an instrument of exploration and experience in which the performers act as "psychogeographers".

Stephanie Felber does not, however, locate the figure of the flâneur in public space, but in places that are usually used for the presentation of art. In these places, passers-by take on a different role than in public space.

In l'atelier de flanerie, the spectators do not remain mere cultural consumers, but become co-actors in the sense of psychogeography, which examines the influence of architecture and geographical surroundings on the experience and behavior of the individual, placing all elements of the performance in relation to one another.
