WUTESHERE, performative laboratory

"Wuteshere" explores the wild in the individual and in the horde. Inner laws of collective dynamics of ecstasy and the demonic in humans are questioned performatively. The approach is interdisciplinary and takes the form of a numinous gathering. A din is created as a synonym for released and unleashed energies, which can unfold and intensify in groups behind a masquerade.

The animalistic in the change of expression and movement patterns, as well as the emergence of intoxication and the extension of physical strength, is choreographically explored in "Wuteshere". The performers and participants become an energetic mass, beings or creatures. Together they explore current realities of the synonym "being wild" (a space in which the civilized has only a rudimentary status and the spontaneous, impulsive and unreflected event is given a primary invitation). The balance between what is a choreographic score and what grows out of the situation itself into a "parallel score" that overwrites the given is in the foreground. Not only are the boundaries between performers and visitors permanently blurred, but also their "positions of power".
